The Drive to Do Better

If you’d told me a year ago that I’d be balancing a corporate career in cybersecurity with an early morning gym routine, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. Yet here I am and I’ve never felt better.

For the first year of corporate life, everything felt chaotic. Between learning new concepts, rotating into different teams, and diving into machine learning, it felt like I was always chasing the clock. I needed structure.

That’s when I committed to building a better routine and surprisingly, the gym became a huge part of that. Now, my mornings mostly start at 6 am with a workout, often followed by some time in the jacuzzi and/or sauna. It's become my reset before the day has even begun. It gives me the mental clarity I need to stay productive and focused.

Maintaining this routine isn't easy. There are frequent mornings when I want to stay in bed, and evenings when studying can feel boring or overwhelming. But over time, I've found that sticking to a rhythm — even when it isn't perfect — helps everything feel more manageable.

I’ve learned that progress isn’t just about what you achieve, it’s about building habits that support you along the way. For me, that’s been finding balance between my goals, my health, and my downtime.

This blog is my space to share that journey; the wins, the lessons, and maybe even the moments where things don't quite go to plan.

Here’s to the journey — one step at a time.
